About us

After moving from his hometown, Waygross GA, to Fernandina in 1991, Tom Swinson founded Arc-Rite in 1996, in response to a growing demand for high-quality, reliable contracting services.

Tom has over 30 years of construction experience in the Southeast and has developed the expertise to service residential, commercial, and industrial needs.

The Company partners with and hires locally, working up to 120 employees at any given time (outages), dedicated to completing projects on-time, at or under budget, and to the highest quality. 

Arc-Rite is committed to supporting the communities in which its employees live and work, which includes hiring engaging local subcontractors, designers, architects, and landscape designers. 

Tom graduated from Valdosta State University with a degree in Management. 

In his free time, Tom enjoys traveling with his wife, Stacy, and their two children, Jack and Kate.
